Australia fluorescent minerals

      The specimens shown at right are from Mt. Gunson, Australia.  The specimens are halite and have a clear to light green tint in normal light.   The specimen is reflecting the long wave ultraviolet light, in the middle image.  The photo at the far right shows a strong orange fluorescence under short wave ultraviolet light.
