These teeth are from the phospate pits in Morocco.
Myliobatis (eagle ray) teeth are also called pavement teeth, because they fit together like paving bricks on a cobble stone street. When you find them connected together they form upper and lower mouth plates. These mouth plates are used to crush clam shells and other food items. The shells are spit out and the contents eaten.
These teeth are sold in lots of 100 pieces for $50.00.
