Odontaspis robusta is an extinct sand tiger shark. They lived during the Cretaceous through the early Eocene Epoch (140-55 million years ago). They reached lengths of about 12 feet.
This specimen is from the phosphate beds of Khourigba, Morocco. Odontaspis robusta teeth are similar in shape and appearance to other Odontaspis species except for the top of the root is larger and more pronounced (robust) than the other species.
