The minerals in the specimen are calcite, willemite, franklinite, and hardystonite (in some specimens) from Franklin, New Jersey.
The first image was taken under a short wave ultraviolet light. The calcite fluoresces red to red-orange, willemite fluoresces bright green, franklinite does not fluoresce at all (it will be the black areas), where hardystonite is present it will be a darker green than the willemite. The hardystonite will be easiest to identify by comparing those same areas under long wave light and short wave light. The hardystonite reflects the long wave light (but does not fluoresce) as a dark purple area on the stone. An added bonus with New Jersey specimens is that the willemite in the specimen will phosphoresce for a short while after exposure to short wave ultraviolet light, when the lights are turned off in a dark room.
The second image below was taken under long wave ultraviolet light. The pinkish color is the long wave light reflecting off the light colored calcite which does not fluorescence under long wave. The willemite fluoresces lightly under long wave ultraviolet light. Franklinite does not fluoresce at all and will appear as a black area on the mineral. Hardystonite reflects the light from the long wave lamp and appears to be a dark purple area on the stone, but fluoresces a dark green under short wave.
In this specimen there appears to be hardystonite at the upper left and most of the right side of the specimen (notice both photos of the specimen).
