The fluorescent minerals in the specimen are calcite and chalcedony from Glendo, Wyoming.
The first image was taken under a short wave ultraviolet light. The calcite fluoresces a pale yellow. The chalcedony fluoresces green. Any purple areas are the reflection of the short wave light off the normally white to light tan non-fluorescing minerals of the specimen.
The second image below was taken under long wave ultraviolet light. The calcite will fluoresce a pale yellow under long wave ultraviolet light. Some of the chalcedony will also fluoresce under long wave UV light. The shades of purple color are due to the long wave light reflecting off the light colored minerals in the specimen.
