The specimen below is a calcite encrusted fossil sea life conglomerate. It is from Dade County, Florida. It lived during the Pliocene through Pleistocene Periods.

The first image was taken under long wave ultraviolet light. The fluorescent mineral represented here is calcite. It fluoresces a creamy white under long wave ultraviolet light.
