This specimen is from Sterling Hill Mine, New Jersey. The minerals present are Monohydrocalcite - bright green - SW, Wollastonite - yellow-orange - SW, Friedelite - non-fluorescing gemmy red crystals, Gahnite - non-fluorescing dark green crystals.
The first photo was taken under short wave ultraviolet lighting and should be the photo you look at to see the fluorescent colors referred to above. The photo below was taken under long wave ultraviolet lighting. The monohydeocalcite is slightly less bright green under long wave. The other colors in the photo below are the result of the UV light reflecting off the light colored minerals in the specimen.
An added bonus of New Jersey specimens, is that the willemite and monohydrocalcite present will phosphoresce, in the dark, for a short while after the lights are turned off.
