This copal specimen from Madagascar contains at least a dozen insects and possibly one spider along with miscellaneous insect parts (from the ones that got away). They are represented by the Class: Arachnida (spiders), and the Class: Insecta (insects) and Orders: Coleoptera (beetles), Diptera (gnats, midges), Hymenoptera (ants).
The spider may be located by positioning the specimen with the narrow tip to the right and the rounded edge at the top. The spider is located about one inch in from the tip. The beetle is located about 1-5/8 inches in from the right.
Critters from the Class Arachnida (spiders) have eight legs while those from the Class Insecta (insects) have six legs.
