This specimen is fluorite on quartz from Huayllapon Mine, Ancash Dept., Peru.
The first photo was taken under both long and short wave ultraviolet lights. Under these conditions the fluorite (center of specimen) fluoresces a light lavender. The rest of the crystals on the specimen are quartz, which do not fluoresce. The purple color is the reflection of the UV lights off clear to light white quartz.
The second photo was taken under normal lighting, showing a nice collection of crystals.
